Things got rolling when Paultje went to his attick and came back with a box and handed it to me. In the box were 14 tapes, all recorded back then when we had this band together, named Vovo Kai. One of the tapes was full of rythmbox recordings. After more than 30 years on this attic, I started listening to them and felt that magic vibe again that was in this this selfmade box he made at an electronics workshop back then. I went home to work on these tracks, some of them I used without any change, others are sampled and looped. Then I took my Korg MS-10 which I bought in 1979 and also used in the band. Things started to evolve, but I have been keen on maintaining the minimal sound which was in the heart of the project. You can hear the results here. The first album from Vovo Kai since 1983(?) Made with original drum-machine tracks recorded in 1982. All other sounds recorded july-2017 - july-2018.

I like the result, the magic is still there, coming back in different form. I love it and I hope you will love it just as much.
